FFL Transfer Information

All inbound transfers through LC Tactical require the standard ATF 4473 form to be completed by the actual purchaser of the firearm. You MUST be a Michigan resident with a valid identification and pass the NICS criminal background check in order to transfer a firearm to you.

For handgun sales you MUST be 21 years of age or older, and 18 years of age or older for a rifle/shotgun.

As  of 02/13/2024, if you want to purchase or transfer a handgun, and you do not posses a valid Michigan CPL, you must visit your local police  department or Sheriff office and obtain a License to Purchase a Firearm  (LTP). This does not apply to firearm receivers, frames or any firearm  that is longer than 26" AKA a non-pistol. You must  complete this process before any transfer can be made.

We only ship to VERIFIED  FFL's, no transactions can be shipped to a private party.

Transfers are done by appointment only!  

ALL questionable transactions are reported directly to the ATF.

Transfer Costs:

Non NFA firearms, pistols/rifles: $30

All NFA items not purchased through LC Tactical: $65

Firearms and NFA items purchased through LC Tactical : No charge

LC Tactical Policies:

1) Items not picked up within 30 days without explicit contact incur a $25 storage charge per month.

2) Items not picked up after a period of 12 months without active contact are considered abandoned and become the property of LC Tactical. This applies to firearms and NFA items that have not gone though the Form 4 process.

3) Items that have gone through the Form 4 process but have not been transferred are subject to the $25 storage charge without explicit arrangements.
